For those curious of you

You might know me as a guy who pushes standards and i18n/ngettext to open source audio/graphics software development and translates half of OSS audio tools into Russian (Audacity, Rosegarden, Hydrogen to name just a few).

I have no ready-to-show homepage yet, two blogs (in Russian and in English) and a jabber account (avp@jabber.ru). You can even mail me.

Being a technical writer, I'm ready to help you with reviewing your docs and telling you, whether there's anything wrong with them. My TODO list is quite large, but it still can have a place for your project, if you feel like I'm the right one to contribute to it.

However, I have zero development skills in C/C++/Python/Ruby, so please don't expect me to do anything more than a straight silly shell script a this time. All my contributive area of interest includes is:

  • standards
  • docs
  • usability
  • functional specs
