The success of LGM Montreal 2009 (Conference 2009 & Conference 2008, Conference 2007) has inspired us all to work together on the next iteration of this conference. Please help fill in the information below to help shape the conference.

Fifth annual worldwide meeting of teams developing open source graphics applications.

Timeline

  • May, 13th 2009: creation of a draft /2010 web page
  • May, 31st 2009: Deadline for formal hosting proposals for LGM 2010
  • June, 8th 2009: Announcement of the city hosting LGM 2010
  • June, July 2010: Book venue
  • Contact (current and possible) sponsors
  • August, 17th 2009: /2010 website becomes the default one for libregraphicsmeeting.org including venue
  • August 2009: Press Release 2 out to all outlets
  • September 2009: Funding application(s)
  • January 2010: Create a flyer and poster (distribute FOSDEM, schools etc.)
  • February 2010: Start Pledgie Campaign
  • February 2010: Call for presentations
  • April 2010: draft programme on-line
  • April 2010: Press Release 3 Third Blast
  • May 2010: Conference
  • June 2010: Re-imbursement, reporting, closing off

Accomodation

  • We plan on having the most possible rooms accessible at a low cost including Internet access in each room, in meeting rooms. Further details to come. As we expect many students from accross Europe, we will try to work with local youthhostels too.
